Binance Labs Grants First Fellowship Round Supporting Open-Source Blockchain Development
Binance Labs Fellowship helps the open-source constructing blocks of the blockchain stack, to foster a rising and vibrant blockchain ecosystem.
SAN FRANCISCO–April 11, 2019–Binance Labs, the enterprise arm of main cryptocurrency alternate Binance, as we speak introduced a grant of US$15,000 to every of its first three open-source Fellowship tasks: Ironbelly, a cellular wallet for the Grin blockchain; HOPR, a privacy-preserving messaging protocol; and, Kitsune Wallet, an upgradeable on-chain wallet. Ironbelly, HOPR and Kitsune Wallet will be part of the Binance Labs Fellowship as the primary ‘Fellows’.
“The Binance Labs Fellowship supports developers and researchers in creating free and open-source projects, enabling new innovations and businesses in the cryptocurrency economy,” stated Teck Chia, Partner at Binance Labs. “Through the Fellowship, we want to support early-stage projects by passionate developers who want to create the key building blocks for the entire blockchain industry. Binance Labs Fellowship is an initiative to fund and assist open-source improvement tasks that contribute and have infrastructure worth to the worldwide blockchain ecosystem. Developers and researchers will obtain steering and assets from the Binance Labs community.
